A Successful Weekend for Budding Entrepreneurs!

Over the weekend, a group of eager entrepreneurs took over Legacy DIY for the Technovate Youth Program - An Introduction to Entrepreneurship. A group of innovators aged 10-17 years old learned all about what it takes to take their business to the next level!

Over the course of the program, participants learned about starting a business from the Community Futures Lloydminster team. With sponsorship from the East Central Alberta RIN, these young entrepreneurs learned everything from business planning to hands-on technical skills like designing logos, crafting wood signs and silkscreening branded t-shirts for their businesses! Each participant experienced six maker skillsets and learned how these skills could lead them to start their business.
